MEG SHUBA YOGA
For over a decade, her emotionally-stirring flow landscapes + potent meditations have caught the attention of magazine publications, celebrities, and those stepping onto the mat for the first time. Meg was named Savannah Georgia’s New Spiritual Leader by South Magazine, and now calls Stowe, Vermont, her home.
Having lived coast to coast, Meg’s classes reflect her own personal discoveries as her deep love for the practice pours out. As she wordsmiths students on an artful journey, she gives of herself fully.
Meg’s students have lovingly called a class with her, “The Meg Effect” and they have traveled with her on retreats to world-renowned centers such as Mandali, Cocoon, Son Blanc, Anamaya, and Schwarzschmied to name a few. Her wildly popular, self-curated methodology is taught under her Accredited Yoga Academy, Body Poetic. She strives to be a creative force with her 200 & 300 Hour Teacher Training Curriculum. For several years, her school has yielded graduates who are teaching all over the world. She is proud that many of them instruct waitlisted classes and are leading retreats of their own. Meg, herself, has taught, directed and consulted some of the most well-known yoga studios, universities, hotels, and wellness centers all over the nation. However, her hope is to bring a down-to-earth and relatable experience…one that’s magnetic, electric, and maybe, even filled with belly laughs or tears.
You choose.
In the way she deeply, fluidly, and unconventionally moves the body and mind, Meg’s signature (and perhaps, unusual) style, poetically weaves together femininity, humor, and storytelling. Spice, Nuance, Whimsy, Emotion.
Move and Be Moved…
Note from Meg: A big thank you to a multitude of thought-leaders and body-movers: the teachers of Katonah Yoga for your wild intelligence, my forever teacher Elena Brower, Meghan Currie from the beginning, Ally Bogard + her prolific words, and all my Alumni, who teach me more than they will ever know.
